Great agriturismo above Kaselruth. Very warm, open host family. Top modern, clean apartments in a separate house with a beautiful view over the town and into the Val Gardena. Beautiful, well-kept area with loungers, playground, barbecue area. Cowshed with participation opportunity, pony, cats, rabbits and ducks are on the farm. We stayed for a week in July. Apartment was spacious and there were no issues with any of the appliances or fixtures, it was in 'like-new' condition.
Found the play room and toys to be a great refresher for our 3year old. The play area in the yard was nice too, but most days we had had enough sun while hiking, so play room was better.
We loved the breakfasts (extra charge), not just for the convenience of having it delivered at a time of our choosing, but it was all fresh and tasty food. Host prepared and delivered it, and it was quite obvious a good deal of time spent daily doing so.
Our only issue was sleeping. It was quite hot the week we were there, and we didn't know how to cool down the rooms sufficiently, a fan would have been nice. I will say that we like to sleep cold, so perhaps this isn't an issue for most people.read more

At the Kienzlhof farm we spent our winter holidays in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the owner. We had a great winter vacation with the whole family. The apartment was super modern and very clean. We felt so comfortable. We were the second time on the Kienzlhof and this time in the sunshine apartment. We felt very comfortable and at home again. The apartments and the whole courtyard including the garden are very well maintained and lovingly designed with many little things. The Karbon family is very accommodating. Our children enthusiastically helped out in the stable every evening. The farm is in a great location. You can walk to cozy Castelrotto or set out directly for child-friendly hikes. We will be back definitely!read more

We were able to spend a week in October on this beautiful farm in a great holiday apartment! Just great!! The apartment, the facilities, the location and especially the super cool and loving breakfast, which we enjoyed every day! Always with fresh products from the farm and beautifully presented! We can recommend the Kienzlhof to anyone who is looking for a great holiday apartment above Castelrotto, with a great family who are there for their guests with passion and always with help and advice!!

We spent our holidays in this delightful farm near the center of Castelrotto in early autumn. The location is excellent, as it allows you to reach the center on foot and in a few minutes you can reach the Alpe di Siusi and Val Gardena.
The apartment is very bright, enjoys a splendid view of Castelrotto from above, is kept in excellent condition and is very well looked after, furthermore the cleanliness is excellent.
Every day we were pampered by Mrs. Ulli's abundant breakfast and "tasty surprises". Breakfast brought to the apartment at the requested time and according to our needs. Mrs. Karbon is always kind and at guests' complete disposal for any need.

We spent our holidays in Castelrotto in this welcoming and peaceful farm. The apartment was comfortable, very nice, clean and spacious. There is a beautiful garden with games and animals (Maya the pony, the shy kittens, the newborn ducklings...), which the children really liked. Ulriche was very kind and welcoming, she always made us feel at home and gave us excellent advice. The place is convenient for reaching the Alpe di Siusi and Ortisei.read more

One week family vacation in the sunshine apartment on the Kienzlhof in Castelrotto.
Apartment perfectly furnished, very clean and plenty of space for 4 adults, a toddler and a dog. Beautiful, quiet location in Tiosels, about 1 km from the town center. Skiing on the Alpe di Siusi is a dream! Slopes in top condition. Ideal, punctual bus connection from and to the bus stop directly at the farm to the center of Castelrotto and to the Alpe di Siusi cable car valley station.
Playground in the garden also ideal in February. The little one was totally enthusiastic about the playhouse and the new wooden tractor. There was so much to see, marvel at and pet on the farm.
Many thanks to the Karbon family for their friendliness and many nice gestures.

We had a super nice holiday at the Kienzlhof. Our Alpenfrieden apartment was new and furnished to a high standard. The whole yard is very well maintained, the garden lovingly and imaginatively laid out. Our children could play extensively, feed and watch the many animals (pony, rabbits, ducklings/chicks, cats, cows), help with the stable work every day and we adults could relax on the many seats and enjoy the fantastic view. The hosts are very nice and attentive. We also liked the good location of the farm. You can set off on various child-friendly hikes directly from the farm. It takes no more than 10 minutes by car to get to the valley station of the cable car to the Alpe di Siusi, with many other hiking opportunities. I can absolutely recommend the farm!read more

Actually, you shouldn't tell anyone how nice it is there, otherwise there will be no more apartments available in the future. For us as adults and for our child a really wonderful time and a fabulous stay: super beautiful holiday apartment, breathtaking view, wonderful playground, lots of animals (including children), great breakfast with incredibly delicious products from the farm - and above all hosts who really We made a warm welcome in every sense and also let our offspring naturally participate in life on the farm. Our vacation at the beautiful Kienzlhof was just fantastic. Our hosts gave us a very warm welcome and were always on hand with advice and assistance. Our apartment was simple, of high quality and tastefully decorated. We missed nothing. We were also able to find a lot of information about the family, the farm, the surroundings and a selection of hiking routes as well as traditional recipes from a lovingly designed folder. Whether bread or laundry service, everything was reliable. The fresh farm eggs are also highly recommended. The children had so many great opportunities to play in the garden that it was often difficult to get away at all. 🙂 Every evening we were allowed to watch the milking and feed the cows. The children had a lot of fun bringing the pony Maya into the stable every day. The location of the farm is also great. Both on foot and by car, we could easily start beautiful hiking tours. The view was sensational.
We really loved the Karbon family and couldn't have imagined it would be nicer.
